What type of camera are you using for the pictures and video? My only complaint is that it is harder to get good quality pictures of the headlights as the headlights look blobbed together. The headlights look way better in person than they do through pictures.

The headlights lose some of their definition and the white beams blob together with the amber ring depending on your camera:

Rather than appearing like this where the white beams are more separate from the amber:

This was all just iPhone 12 Pro

I have been very interested in these headlights (2nd gen that is) since their release, I know it's early on and Morimoto seems to have addressed the installation issues people experienced early on. But how is the warranty on these lights? And what exactly is covered by said warranty? I rely on my headlights a lot ( I know stay OEM then) but would like to give these a shot if dependability is in line with OEM. Thanks.

Actually these have been out for quite some time. This is just a new revision of them where they made them brighter.

Warranty is 5 years and is handled by your dealer. So if you buy from us, we take care of the warranty for you when you contact us (if you ever do, as it's rare there are issues).

Well worth the price.

Got mine installed today and Im very impressed with the quality of their manufacturing. Havent had a chance to do any driving in the dark to compare but so far from what I have seen these are here to stay. Only issue aside from snapping a plastic trim tool in half is that the startup sequence doesnt work, the amber DRL does though and that was all I cared about.

Does anyone else DRLs stay on for a hot minute after locking the truck?

sometimes it happens sometimes they shut off after 7 seconds.

Yes and no. You need to find the right fuse to tap into. The one you are using stays hot after the truck turns off. Mine does that from time to time but i'm too lazy to go find a better circuit

haha same.

I feel like everything is perfect and don’t want to mess with it.

wonder how long they’d stay up for.

probably no danger of coming back to a dead battery.
