Car and Driver has a new article out in their February issue. They got 0-60 in 5.0 flat and the 1/4 mile at 13.5 seconds @ 106 mph.

But it's doesn't sound as good as the V8...

Yeah I guess that's why RPG, Rogue, ADD, and others are already selling G2 components or very quickly designing and getting them ready for market, because the owners drooling to get them want to street race.



And as much as I loved my G1, now that we are getting to see plenty of side by sides, I'm preferring the G2 much more. Freshened and more modern design. Always love the G1, but for me it's time to move on to new truck.

How many guys have you seen guys with off-road shocks and 20" or bigger wheels that will never do anything but traffic light pulls. They'll build it for the few and those that have to buy everything will get them as well, but this is a street truck.

This has been entertaining to read! News flash - whenever a Gen 2 of anything is made, they will make it better, that's what sells it and justifys the higher price. The Gen 2 has more power and less weight, simple math. However, big V8, exhaust among other things keep the Gen 1 as some favorite. As far as the race, the Gen 1 got beat. I personally like the Gen 1 motor and exhaust much better and rarely, well never, line up and race mine, got other rides for that. Just curious from all the Gen 1 bashers, I see many of you show ordered or built on or at some mystery lot, in other words- you ain't got no Gen2 Raptor! Sooo, how in he hell do you know what they really are like!?!? I know you READ it on the internet so it's gotta be true.
