Modded 2010 Raptor vs. Stock 2017 Raptor

Gen 2 you will never know what its like to own a raptor in 2010. Most people had never seen a truck like that before ,at that time. Raptors are dime a dozen now. You will blend in with the Gen Won's. Then some will ask is that the new Raptor? Then they ask it only has a V6? Then they say "that sucks".

My buddy at the Waffle House told me that a famous tuner is working on a engine and transmission mount kit to swap the 6.2 into the new Raptor chassis (only Screw, because of the weak welds on the Scab). The kit will come with headers that connect to the factor dual exhaust. This kit basically give you the best of both worlds, the 6.2 engine from gen1 with the chassis and suspension from the new chassis. Win!

Back in 2010-11 people looked at them like they were Lamborghinis. It was nuts. So many people taking cell phone pics on the freeway or at gas stations. If I stayed somewhere that they had valet parking my truck would get put out front with the exotics. People are almost used to them now and I just don't see anyone getting as geeked up about the new ones since the Raptor isn't a new idea anymore.
