Also a street drag race between these two, while entertaining, is not very good at validating anything. Even though street racing isn't what they are designed for, performance translates in other arenas. However, unless it's done in a controlled environment by the same driver, it is unreliable data. I'd like to see back to back laps by both on a rally cross track.
It will happen and when it does we all will be reading comments about how the V8 sounds better...
That is literally all that's left. Anything else has become irrelevant. Bye bye too bad so sad.
Alot of Gen1 one guys saying how the Gen2 doesn't stack up, but haven't even driven one. You can ****, your opinion is not valid here.
Also alot of Gen2 guys claiming superiority over the the Gen1 when they never owned one. You can **** too.
Those with seat time in both are the only ones that can fairly assess one against the other. That's who I want to hear from.

Then you have the people that need an engine to sound a certain way or it somehow loses all validity. Ask the person about the engine sound of their Ferrari when they are trying to keep up with a Tesla.
Ford built the gen 2 to be inferior to the gen 1. Isn't that the way it supposed to work!
