When I performed upgrades on my truck it is with knowing that if anything happens that it would be on my dime. I don't blame Ford on this in any way. They have every right in my opinion to say that the stock exhaust should be on the truck for them to diagnose the problem.

what im most upset about is that one dealer claims to change it but never dose, then another dealer refuses to diagnose it due to a cat back exhaust.

Yea, that is wild. They should have just told you what the code means and to replace the sensor. I just can't see changing the exhaust causing the sensor to go bad. Now, if you would had installed CAI, headers and a tuner, Ford has every right to tell you it's not covered by warranty, but they should tell you can bring it in and we can analyze it for you.

On the F 150 forum several owners of the MBRP exhaust seems to complain about throwing codes from time to time. That being said...........you make ANY modifications you can expect any delaer or company to deny your claim. You make modification you pay the piper!!!:deal:

Have tried Hassett Ford in Wantuge?

They installed my Whipple and one other member on this forum.
They are an authorized Whipple dealer and installer.

Folks your dealer has very little authority on warranty work. Any warranty work over about five hundred bucks must be approved by Ford. The dealer has no control over that decision.

Absolutely right, and it's not Ford it's Ford's insurance company they use to cover warranty work.
And they don't like to pay out. Lots of ******** paper work the service dept. has to do.

Ok hears and update.

I have been to Sayville Ford, and they have been looking at my truck. They have changed the o2 sensor 2 times, that is a total of 4 o2 sensors that have been put in my truck by ford dealers. Every time the light comes back. Yesterday while it was in the shop for the MIL they told me that they had to install the factory exhaust. I picked up the truck today and was charged $384.00 to install the exhaust. That is labor only!!!! The tech had 4 hours into the truck! I made it about 15 miles and the light came back.

The truck is completely stock now, and it throws the light FASTER then it did with the MBRP.

I am DONE with ford. I love my truck, but not enough to do this every month.

I will give them one more shot and fixing my truck for good. If I see this P013C code one more time its bye bye Raptor! NEVER will I purchase a ford again!

I will buy a Land Rover from my dealer, at least then I can do the warranty work myself and fix the damn thing!
Rant over
