Mine was the first he converted. It's more than just the pan that's required.
I know... it just seems a bit steep, I guess you can't blame the guy for wanting to get paid for doing the leg work.
$83 - oil pan
$30- pick up tube (if needed)
$8- drain plug and gasket
$??- sealant
$??- oil pan bolts

You can take the chance go buy them off tasca and hope you get all the right parts. If your wrong you truck will be down while you try to figure out the correct parts. Doesnt sound like a risk worth it to me to save a few bucks.

Someone on here posted a picture of their work order a while back in another thread so we could see the list of parts and part numbers. It was the oil pan assembly (which included the drain plug and gasket), the pickup tube, 12 bolts and sealant. I sent RMB an email to find out if any of their kit is after market and would save a lot of the labor in dropping the pan and swapping out the pickup tube. That would definitely be worth the premium price and probably be the difference in many of us doing it at home vs dropping it off at the shop. Not sure what the labor rates at the dealership the guy used but it came to close to $400 so not sure exactly how many billable hours that was. I know my local stealership rates are $112/hr and seeing what needs to be done this doesn't seem like a 4 hour job.

Here’s the work order the other guy posted, when mine starts to leak I’ll get a metal one installed. Or maybe sell my 18 and get a 19... damn this forum

Did you get it installed? Any issues since? I am trying to get a metal one on mine this time.
Mine hasn't started leaking yet, but I'm going into dealer next Monday I'll get a more current quote if they even want to do it...

They are telling me $560 in labor and it will void my factory extended warranty 125,000/7yr. Do I’m going to kick the proverbial can down the road for now. I have the upgrade kit for the future. Seems so backwards to me. They already are going to have the truck up in the air and the front axle off (needs some new seals) and it would be a great time to do the upgrade, even with the parts on my dime they won’t do it.

I'll let you know what my dealer says, seems F-ed up they'd say it's going to void your extended warranty.
