Yes, you paid the initially released MSRP just as everyone else tying to purchase a vehicle without many confirmed specs from the manufacturer. Hope you are happy for paying for something without details lol.

PS. Do you know what happens when no one pays the MSRP...the MSRP gets adjusted.

Sford150,
When I went shopping in Dec 2012, I went to my local dealer first and told them of my plans to order a 2013. I told them they did not need to be the cheapest; indeed they could be $500 over my best price I found and I would still buy from them.
I then spent the next 2 1/2 weeks shopping at all of the Ford dealers within 3 hours, and compiled a list of prices from $5,000 over MSRP to $1,000 below MSRP.
What a waste of time.
I went back to my local dealer with the list in my pocket...and they came in better than $500 less than my best price. Needless to say I never pulled the list out. I ordered the truck and 3 months later I was an owner. (Two weeks after I ordered my truck Ford came out with the SE package...with the beadlock capable wheels and the Ruby Red color....).
Two things to remember:
1) The Raptor is no longer SVT; There are no "allocations", every one that wants a Raptor should be able to order one just like a Lariat or King Ranch or Platinum.
2)Dealers want to make money. When you walk out the door they fail to do so. It's your $....you can spend it wherever you want. Make sure that they understand that you are in control of where you spend YOUR money. If they want to do business they will have to accept a reasonable profit rather than tagging on a $5,000 extortion.
Eddie
ps remember that every MSRP sale is $1,500 plus profit.

Thanks for the advice. I sat down at lunch today with the intention of calling every dealer in my area to find one that would sell to me at MSRP. I got lucky and it ended up being the first dealer I called. They're selling it to me at sticker with all the options I want. They said that if I bought it out right I could get it $4k off sticker. Lol I'm still gonna finance it though. I went with Ted Green Ford in VT. They're the oldest Ford dealership in New England. Been operating 103 years

That's odd, most dealers prefer if you finance it through a finance company that they setup. That way they get an extra kickback. If you pay cash, they lose that. So to sell to you for less because paid cash, makes no sense. Seems like a red flag to me.

I always find my best rate and then go to the dealer and tell them to beat it and I will go through them instead. My raptor is financed at 1.64% because of that. If that can't beat it, and you want to be nice, have them match it. If they can't, go elsewhere.

Anyone willing to pay a pennie over MSRP is just ******** every other potential buyer and should be hung by their nuts!!!!!!!!!!!

Lmao agreed! But I went through a very nice little family owned dealership (5 generations, over a hundred years) and they sold to me $2k under MSRP and I didn't have to put a down payment on day of order. When the truck arrives were gonna work out the financing and everything.

raptor markup

California- I just got back from a dealership and they estimate they will markup their 2017 raptors by at least $20k. That's enough for me to wait until 2018.....
