I think one of the most damn frustrating things is reaching out to each of these dealers and all of them ask me to hop on a quick call when I just have a simple question to be answered. Just tell me if you have one on the lot or not, jesus. I say no call, just email or text. And then the follow up is again asking me to hop on a call. It's like their sole purpose is frustrate the hell out of buyers. And when I ask what their price / ADM is, they refuse to answer, just again, ask me to hop on a quick call or come in to check out the car. *endrant

You are thinking about this wrong, dealers have limited inventory all the units they have are going to friends and family due to the fact they don't have inventory. It is not just what you are seeing which is why I think Ford Chevy and Dodge are headed towardsw a dealer less network within 2 years just like Tesla.

I don’t see how that’s relevant to his response. Many dealers still play games instead of being straight forward with info. If they don’t have an allocation or charge ADM then tell a customer up front. Don’t waste everyone’s time. As soon as I notice a salesman is trying to play games I disengage. Honest people get my business.

For example I know of a dealer doing $10k off MSRP on TRX’s. No games and fees are explained up front. Ford needs to straighten their guys out.

There are a couple doing $10k off TRX. One in Iowa and one in PA I believe.

It is dealer specific, but it is not fair. The dealer I know is doing MSRP for Raptors but are only selling the allocations. They are putting deposits for those allocated units but said they are not sure when they will start accepting it. It was obviously a rigged system for colors I did not care to own but it became obvious they are only selling to their hook up customers. Kind of BS in my book.

PS I have a schnauzer mix and every-time I see your avatar it trips me out.

Capitalism. Thats all this is. Nothing to see here.

This is only crappy if someone orders one at MSRP and the dealer doesn’t honor it.

There is no issue with dealer markups. The market determines the price. Thats the way it works.

It’s unethical and bad for customers relations, plain and simple. These are supposed to be blue collar hero vehicles and these dealerships are pricing out the hard working people who would otherwise be able to afford them. If you want something to change then you need to do something about it. Idc that some think it’s pointless to do what I’m doing. And it’s sad that some people are willing to give in to ridiculous ADM. That only feeds the greed of these dealerships. I’ll say again I don’t think 5k or even 7.5k is out of the question but $10k or more is. These trucks are great but not when they’re unreachable by the very audience they were made for.
I’m sure you woudnt complain if you sold your home for 200k over asking. It’s a doggy dog world, eat when you can!!

Houses appreciate, vehicles do not typically. Once the fed raises interest rates the prices will fall back a little.
