Have you considered switching from the Scorcher to another type of tune like the 5-Star offering? I'm curious as to your thoughts.

It's it the same 4 wheel drive system 4 Auto or 4H so it will not matter which you use for straight line acceleration. I would use 4H for a more direct application of power since 4 Auto transfers power based on wheel slippage i.e. more wear and tear in 4 Auto.

The truck isn't going to blow up being in 4H. If you're on dry pavement and plan on turning that's when it's going to cause excess wear on your tires and drivetrain. But if you're at the track or testing on the street, just turn it back to 2H when you're slowing down and blip the throttle to take tension off the drivetrain so it can shift.

When I took my 06 F350 crew cab long bed lifted 6" on 35's (tuned, studded, intake, exhaust, egr delete) to the track and ran 14.2 1/4 mile passes all of my runs were in 4H without the transfer case blowing up.

There is no technique. This computer plugs directly into the OBD2 and pulls data live in real time. This is, in fact, 100% accurate.

It's not accurate... you might want to think so, and it gives a general idea, but they are generally .3 -.4 seconds more generous than reality. Compare it to a vbox and you'll see. Plus, if the size of your tires is any different than stock, that will skew results too as your MPH is off.

Maaaan. I don't mean this to sound disrespectful, but I've been driving and racing cars forever I know how this works I promise.

In fact, my tires are a slightly larger diameter, 35.3 vs 34.4. which makes the truck run slightly faster than the speedometer reading. In fact, if the speedo says 100mph the truck is going 102.62 based on the diameter difference. I do this all the time on my bikes, I'm an avid road cyclist and it's a very simple calculation.

So yeah you're right, it's off. I'm getting there faster. Maybe I'll figure out how to adjust my diameter in the computer to give you a more accurate and faster measurement.

The truck is sub 5's now, wait until it get it mid 4s and I'll also figure out how to adjust the diameter in the computer. :)

That doesn't mean anything to me. I promise I've been doing it longer than you. See how that works? Get a vbox, then we'll talk.

Sorry but the accuracy of OBD2 is good enough for me you were wrong about the tire size issue fwiw so let's say mine is off by 6 feet. I'm still running faster than 4.92 :).

Anyways, unless you're older than 44 and been racing karts since you were 12 I doubt you've been doing it longer. In any case, the truck is fast and getting faster!
