I just picked up a set of the 3 x 3 set from M&R for 450 the Rigid set of dually's not the d2's is in the same ballpark from a cost perspective mid $400 range. i am hoping for the best from my new led kit. i never asked what the return policy is :( i am sure they will stand behind there product.

Some people had some lights crack at the Snoball 500. We don't have these installed on our truck, but Yukon called Mik about it and he Said that he would replace them no problem. Joe passed that along on here. Also as Beemerman mentioned, they replaced his cracked light bar no questions asked. Our light bars are also holding up great.

The point of my post wasn't to throw Greg Under the bus, but to point out that it can put a negative connotation on M&R to the newbies and especially the lazy ones who don't bother reading the entire thread.

M&R was on my shit list a while back for a group buy gone wrong, but after our dealings with him recently I have every confidence that he'll address this issue.

I may still go with the M&R ones. Living in the south we don't even really know what road salt is. If there is a single snow flake we close up the schools, buy bread and milk, and stay home.

I like the way they look. Plus the price is good. All my lights will ever see is good old muddy mud and pine straw and deer blood.

Even if they're replaced, it's still nice for people to see some of the potential failings of a product... so it's at least nice to see this stuff.

Hopefully M&R steps up, which I'm sure they will.

Normally I completely agree! But that was a different situation, in the WRONG thread, posted by the WRONG person... and my patience was about <---> that big that day, haha.

Currently there are only 2 sets of lights (that I know of) that have this issue.. So to me it looks like a limited supplier/manufacturer quality issue as far as paint/powercoat.

M&R has stood behind their products (lenses, and 40" mounting brackets) at least all the ones I have heard of.

Would I buy them knowing this potential issue exists on limited number of lights, YES I would. Now, "IF" all of sold sets of lights started to show signs of corrosion, regardless of environmental conditions. I would be hesitant at this point until I see how they handle this issue.

My whole intent is to let current owners know there could be a potential issue regarding this light kit finish. And to narrow down a time frame of manufacture in case there was a bad batch of lights..

I believe Birdman said he is trying to get a piece of ass so we should just sit tight for a bit. also Greg should post on the first post M&R was contacted at this time and we are waiting on response. If this thread was first let us know.
