I agree with sitdown and no offense meant to Greg, but we always give vendors the opportunity to handle things in private before putting pictures up on here. You can't know for certain that your problem isn't a isolated incident and your scary picture could definitely scare people away. Even if you clarify later in the thread, etc...
We know now this isn't isolated, but lets give them an opportunity to chim in before we jump to conclusions.

Thanks. In Greg's defense, he was aware of my issues, so he knew this wasn't an isolated issue. The forum would blurr out most of the comments made by those members who saw my truck this past weekend.

Jordan, 3Floyds is quite tempting... but If theyre still in one piece by next year ill be using a few of them as Wiz'esque rear facing golden nuggets to keep tailgating snoballers if check ;)

My point with this thread is to inform potential buyer and current owners of the issue. Not to bash an FRF vendor, vendor bashing only drives away vendors and customers. Just like other issues I have had with FRF vendors products all except one (recon, which is no longer a vendor) has stood behind their work/product (so far).

I have purchased a lot of Raptor products from FRF vendors and will continue rather than taking a chance anywhere else. With that said, I am hoping M&R continues the FRF vendor style customer service and resolves this issue..

By no way did i mean to condemn M&R products or service.. Just documenting the issue, hopefully to improve the product..

Did you reach out directly to Mike before making this post? My protocol for vendor issues don't start with posting on the forum as #1. I recommend in the future contact the vendor, and post the whole situation with the resolution (if applicable) after speaking with the vendor. I think the dude just got married and you kind of poached him here Greg. But thanks for bringing it to our attention, really.

And I have.. It was not until Sitdown sent me a PM regarding his foglight kit, that I posted this thread. Hopefully it was a bad batch or something like that.. I have always try to give FRF vendors a fair opportunity to resolve issues and help prevent further problems and concerns.

The statement "you get what you pay for" is not a derogatory statement. Or shouldn't be looked at that way.

Brandsmart thrives off the lowest price possible and people still shop there. I have a bad experience with all 3 products I bought from them. But many people live off Brandsmart.

Some FRF vendors offer high quality at the highest priced possible. Some offer lower grade stuff at a lower price.

Greg, you bought a product and had it fail before it should have. Creating this thread can only help M&R produce better quality products. Also, maybe they were unaware of this defect.

At the end if the day, this thread shouldn't be considered a "bash" thread. Criticism and product testing by the consumer will let the business know how their supplier is performing. A huge part of cost structure in manufacturing operations is solely devoted to prevention and failure costs....

I just picked up a set of the 3 x 3 set from M&R for 450 the Rigid set of dually's not the d2's is in the same ballpark from a cost perspective mid $400 range. i am hoping for the best from my new led kit. i never asked what the return policy is :( i am sure they will stand behind there product.

I imagine it would be hard to improve the quality of these at the source (China). What if M&R sprayed the hell outa new light housings and brackets with something like black Rustoleum before shipping them out? If I had the lights already, I would at least clean them up and spray that pot metal with some kind of protective coating.

My 40" behind the grill is fine. Been on there since last summer. I think I'll go examine it closely now though.
