And to think, some of you guys gave the op shit about bringing up this topic again. Even after reading all the post and seeing the pics, I wasn't sure this even happened (much like the moon landings). Now, Chris is actually chiming in, prof enough for me. Can't wait to see what's next.

Fire suppression system? This may be a dumb question since I have very little off road experience, but wasn't there a fire suppression system in this truck? I have driven race cars for years and we always use suppression systems. Is there something that precludes us from using them in off road vehicles? I apologize if this is a dumb noobie question, I just want to know.

Thanks!

Bill

That's a negative ghostrider.

Suppression systems are fairly common in many of the top tier offroad builds though.

Our trucks have them. I close my eyes and go through the motions of pulling the pin at least once every race weekend. Hope I never have to use it. It's hard to get out of a race truck not wheels down.

Treypal, in most sanctioning bodies we have a time we have to get out of the car with full gear on. Getting out of the harness and climbing through the cage with helmet and HANS device is tricky when you have the added pressure of the stopwatch. Makes me really appreciate the suppression system since I have seen how quick a fire spreads
