No, sorry.....Proven fact that adding anti-seize will increase the amount of stress to the stud & torque specs are calculated by either dry method or with lubricant for a reason. I have seen demonstrations on this by fastener manufacturers that demonstrate the difference in force applied, by torqueing with or without lubricants. And add the fact that the nuts are a wedge fit in an aluminum rim & you are asking for trouble.

Eh whatever, I aint arguing this...

I wasn't arguing. You asked why you were experiencing problems, after using anti-seize, and I just offered my experience to help you figure it out.
Sorry if I offended you, but I thought the point was to gain the knowledge.

Eh you didnt offend me. I have 6 years as a engineering fastener technologist at Ford so I have a little insight on this stuff... We all cool

I use a 4 way and coundnt get em loose!!! I dont use a impact because it chips the chrome off the lugs and they rust...

Does this mean the dealer is most likely responsible for my chipped and rusting lugs? Brought it in fr the first oil change and my new truck came back all scratched and rusted in the lugs.

I suppose it's all they use? Using a socket and wrench should take too long?

The issue is the plating process. Not the fault of the impact socket--low bid lug nuts by Ford.

Yeah, I only have 30 years of turning wrenches in an industrial setting as a mechanic/engineer. We don't have those kind of titles, but if We did, I guess it would be something like "Engineering Fastener Pneumatic Hydraulic Conveyance Automation Specialist" LMAO

PS I left off "Electronic Controls & PLC programmer" as not to seem too pretentious

I have over 20 years of using ethanol under my belt and when I started using e-30 10 years ago I knew it was something great.
