I have a fully loaded Molten Orange 2010 Raptor with the 5.4L engine and I love everything about this truck. I just wish I had another 100 HP. I am interested in adding a Supercharger, but wonder if I would regret impact to engine life or any other negative side effects. Any experience with the 5.4 Supercharged that you can share?

Welcome to Forum, RumseyJ. Lots of good, friendly people on here. Congrats on purchase!

Wow -- You guys gave me a real education! I appreciate all the comments, opinions and background on this subject. I only just now logged back in to see if anyone commented and what a surprise! I think I will just let this sink in for awhile, while I try to convince my wife this is a good idea (she's already bargaining on what she gets to buy in return) But it sounds like I would want to limit boost to the 6-10 PSI range. My local Ford dealer claims they have a local guy that does this for them for about $5K, but no warranty, of course. Thanks again!!!

Rumsey, this forum is like a small hive of Africanized Honey bees. There arent many of us here yet, but we will still get the job done quickly. I would be interested in seeing that Edelbrock installed on a Raptor, but installed that will run more like 7k but you can get that 3/36k warranty. I also demand pics of your Raptor, and maybe a shot of where that scharger will go...
