So here is where wire goes on my t-case. My question is that if his t-case operates normally what does this wire go to?

My guess is the synchronization clutch. I bet if he tries shifting into 4 high at highway speeds, the transfer case would not be working any longer. Just my guess.

Well I switched to 4h and it worked like it should. 4L it worked like it should as well (both at a stop). I don't switch on the fly. I made an appointment with ford for Tuesday. I asked if it would be covered under warranty and they stated "if we can prove that it was pulled out then it won't be covered." can someone tag ford service on this?

You may want to make sure all the TRR mud has been washed out under the truck. The stealership is famous for rejecting claims because you use the truck for what it was intended. Been there, done that.

TRR = Texas Raptor Run

And you guys have it all wrong. That green wire goes to the flux capacitor. Gotta get those 1.21 giga watts of power somehow...

So what exactly does that do?

Nah man, I'm just messin' with ya. It was a reference to the "Back to the future" movie.

I'd listen to these guys' advice.

I'll crawl under my truck in a bit and snap a pic of mine in a bit.

So ford said it was a internal case ground and said it won't be covered under warranty since they "hardly cover wiring." Can someone tag ford service. Please? Everytime I tag on my phone it doesn't work properly
