Loose at high speeds

Anyone else having issues with what feels like loose steering at high speads (over 60 mph). It's not steering wheel vibration due to unbalanced tires - I know what that feels like and this isn't it. Having trouble maintaining my lane. Scarier at times than driving my old 27 ford with a modified I beam front end.

As far as modifications pertaining to this post: 20" rotiforms with Toyo open countrys
RPG 1.5 perch collars
Currently running steering in sport mode to try and keep it tight.
I did have an alignment after lift & rim install

Might be due to the weight increase from stock to the new set of wheels/ tires. MT tires will shift on uneven pavement and tend to wander if your not used to running wide/ large tires. Id check the Toe on the alignment and maybe look at adding slight positive caster. That will give the tires a more "on center" feeling at speed.

This sounds about right. I'd check the alignment. Sometimes after leveling shops won't align/adjust the caster appropriately. If the caster is too low (not positive enough) the truck wander at highway speeds for sure. Had the same issue with a Tacoma years back.

To be honest, the truck feels "unglued" to the road anytime in 75+.
I figured it was just the characteristics of the truck.

My C7 was my daily before the Raptor and just about everything else I drive feels like i'm driving a mattress. lol

My truck is just 2 mos old and I hit 100 mph for the first time yesterday. Yup, it was scary. It was like being on a flying carpet !!

To be honest, the truck feels "unglued" to the road anytime in 75+.
I figured it was just the characteristics of the truck.

My C7 was my daily before the Raptor and just about everything else I drive feels like i'm driving a mattress. lol

There are several roads on Texas with 80 and 85 MPH speed limits. I have not had issues with my 2018 SCREW up to 90+. It has been very smooth for long distances across the state. I am completely stock right now, but plan to add 37s, Geisers and Deaver +3s as soon as my parts arrive.

Flying carpet feeling at 100+ usually has a lot to do with the up/downs in the road.

I've run my 2018 SCrew up to ~130 with solid handling. The tires aren't rated for speeds that high though and make lots of noise as the tread starts to wrinkle up. I don't recommend it... If your air pressure is too low the BFGs will also feel real squirrelly at higher speeds as well.
