Looks like no BlueCruise for Raptor - 801a's READ!

Seems like once they don't include it and you buy the truck they will never give it as an option because they want you to buy a new truck not upgrade your old one. Auto manufacturers only ever offer new features to an old vehicle when it is included in a recall. Like Ford will not make an option to purchase sync 4 to put in a vehicle that came with sync 3, even if the screen size is the same. They want the new vehicle sale.

The only way it would happen is if they think they can make a lot on yearly subscriptions.

The dealer here in the Kansas City area I’m working with on my MY 22 order (with no VIN yet) said they would be re-issuing invoices to reflect that feature not being available and a price reduction. He didn’t say yet the exact amount, but that the emails should be going out next Monday about it along with allocation news. Not holding my breath, but some news is better than none I suppose.

Likely not possible. They have been working this whole time trying to make it work on the Raptor with the additional off-road sensors that are a barrier to getting this working.

Do you think that if they can make this work later that they would be refunding everyone for the BlueCruise prep package?

Some of us got locked into 2021 MSRP for model year 2022 or at least we think we did when we placed our orders in October. The build and price website has my exact 801a specs, almost 1700 higher than what is listed on my signed build sheet with deposit. If the dealers honor that price, would we also receive back $1395 because it is a MY2022? or do we only get $795 back since it has the MY2021 pricing?

Got my window sticker a couple of days ago off the tracker. It does show a $880 increase over my order from 10/15. Sales manager told me I will pay the original price agreed upon. He told me he has heard about the blue cruise issue, but nothing official from Ford yet. So he couldn’t comment on getting money off or back. Will update if I hear anything.

I believe so. When I placed my order the MSRP without any options was $64,495. My window sticker shows $65,375. $880 increase. Not positive but I believe $64,495 was MSRP for 2021 with no options.
