My dealership is saying its standard and all that jazz on the 801A, even when they go in their back end system they say blah blah there this many raptors in production/transit/lot with blue cruise and not to worry bc its coming in an over the air update.

On the other end I am seeing a bunch of articles as of recent about it being canceled but nothing official from Ford. Kind of a deal breaker for me, an already expensive truck + ADM + taxes and tags doesn't leave much room for compromise. thats whole lot of money for a vehicle that wont have one of ford's (and the auto industry in general) latest greatest features hands free driving features.

I have a deposit down for a build that will apparently start in march. Thinking I will tell the dealer to hold my deposit and put me first in line for 2023 or just get something else. Just wish there was more news official from ford and if theyre giving up on blue cruise for all raptor model years going forward.

I believe so. When I placed my order the MSRP without any options was $64,495. My window sticker shows $65,375. $880 increase. Not positive but I believe $64,495 was MSRP for 2021 with no options.
This is interesting to me. I updated my order to pull 37PP, Carbon and ProPower as I heard from contact at Ford that my dealer had no 37PP allocation but did for 35s. My original signed order sheet had $64,495 but new one had $65,375. Same order code and auth code. Thankfully the dealer let me know they'd honor the deal and didn't want to lose me as a customer for $880. Wondering how others are seeing this handled.

As for BlueCruise, in a vacuum I'll take the $1395 over the tech because I usually tow an off road trailer if on highway with truck so not sure it can be engaged in a tow environment anyways. I get the allure though as a way to combine cool tech while on highway. My original order is now shaved off $8,635 and I'm sincerely more excited about the truck.

I'm all for engagement but if I'm just driving on the interstate I really don't care. Same thing for stop-and-go traffic due to accidents, construction, or just congestion. It would be great to let the computer take over in those circumstances and just chill out and enjoy the view.
Have you seen the dorks that program these computers?? You want them at the controls of your Raptor? NO THANK YOU!

ROFL. This is so true. Geeks who mostly don’t own cars. I wish I was kidding. Given all of the bugs I’ve seen in my 20, I’ll let Ford drive when hell freezes over.

lol. id let it drive but id sure as hell would be ready with my hands and feet if all hell breaks loose. I don't drive enough freeway driving to utilize the option. the subscription probably would not be paid for by me. wouldn't get my moneys worth. but I sure id take the periodic trial they most definitely will give out from time to time when customers don't get it.

This really ****** me off. Blue Cruise was one of the reasons I purchased the Raptor in the first place. I do a lot of interstate driving to my deer lease and was planning to purchase a larger travel trailer and start taking family trips when Blue Cruise became active.

If I would have known Blue Cruise was a no-go on the Raptor, I would have purchased the Tremor or another model.

Ford cannot just sit back and give refunds and avoid liability. Someone who purchased the truck with the expectation of it being Blue Cruise capable is out a lot more than $795 equipment fee. We purchased a vehicle that is not what was advertised.

I live in Texas and this is a violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. It is basically a bait and switch sale.

The other good thing about Texas is that you can sue Ford and the jury can award triple damages.

Looks like I will be sending Ford a demand letter next week.

My truck is 90 miles from the dealer sitting in the rail yard (at last check). Yesterday, I noticed a new sticker for $795 less than the previous one. I hope to take deliver this weekend or early next week. I'll print out my own sticker to get the bleeping thing.

Keeps us Texans posted on this and do save a copy of that letter…no need to reinvent the wheel!

Been looking at the PowerBoost F150....
Pondering dropping the Raptor order and ordering a PowerBoost...

Ugh, I'm so torn, between all the features that are being stripped and the posts I see with owners claiming 12-14mpg... it's got me doubting the Raptor...I just love the body... the regular F150s are just so tame looking.
