Ive been looking up the same thing an seen lots of good reviews on the R1. Seems like a great "budget" option.

I’ve had my R1 BBK 2 years now, zero issues! I absolutely love them. I did the install myself.

I have the R1 setup for my 17”s and it’s awesome. Can’t imagine ever going back to stock brakes after this. Been on the truck for almost a year, perfect in every way. View attachment 342428View attachment 342429

any additional details for this kit?

I've seen them spec an R1 kit that fits stock 17" wheels and I think one of the members here participated in the fitting process.

freedom motorsports has a r1 kit for oe 17" wheels, not sure if they still offer it
i have the kit for my wheels, but ended up going 18" wheels.
Think i need more stopping power, went to 37" and i think its a bit slower to stop now. that and i added a super heavy 5 link suspension to the rear.

Big time thread necro, but @Andrew Macpherson where did you purchase the set? Also, what size rotors?

It looks like the kit from Evil Offroad has 356mm front/ 330mm rear rotors, with 6-piston calipers on both ends. I’m looking at a lightly larger rear rotor, but only 4-piston calipers in the rear to keep the brake balance closer to stock; don’t want to start messing with brake master cylinders just yet.

@rayofsi You can reach out directly to R1 for a quote.

I “built” my potential system here: https://www.r1concepts.com/bbk

…and then sent them that configuration for a quote; had to do it as separate requests for the front and rear. All I got back was a couple spam videos but no actual quote. Guess I should check my spam folder(s), LoL.

Also, I assume I will need them, but not 100% sure if I’ll need adapter brackets to fit these calipers to my stock mounting points.

Edit: Just looked ‘em up and they’re < 1 hour away from where my truck will be getting some work done in a few weeks. Probably dangerous to my wallet, but will swing by to get hands-on with their kits, and get a real quote.
