Welcome to the forum!
However, if you're on a budget, a lightly used 2023 model under MSRP could be a great alternative.

Ordering a 2025 Raptor R
Given your past experience with Ford's ordering process, it's understandable that you're hesitant. However, if you're willing to wait 4-6 months or longer, ordering a 2025 Raptor R might ensure you get the exact configuration you want. Keep in mind that Ford may offer incentives or discounts for ordering a new vehicle, which could offset the wait time.

Raptor Variants - Some forum members may have experience with multiple Raptor variants. However, it's great that you've driven the F-150 Raptors and the Bronco Raptor. Your preference for the Bronco Raptor's performance and value is valuable insight.Regarding value retention, you're correct that the Raptor R is likely to hold its value better than the Bronco Raptor, given its lower production numbers and exclusivity.
Additional Insights - Consider the following:- Check with local dealerships for any available 2023 or 2024 Raptor R models that might meet your requirements.
- Negotiate the price based on the vehicle's options, mileage, and condition.- Review Ford's certified pre-owned (CPO) program, which may offer benefits like warranty extensions and inspections.
- Weigh the pros and cons of buying a used or new Raptor R, considering factors like warranty, maintenance, and customization options.
I hope this information helps you make a more informed decision

Get a 23r .. look the best, sound the best, the power is the SAME as the 24's etc. Remember sex and hp sell- don't look into the "720" hp. I raced my buddies 24 with my 23 stock for stock and we were neck and neck with perfect starts.
23's also don't have any issues. 24's have alot of qc issues.. I'm keeping my 23 r for sure. It's a gem and I believe 23's will be most desired just from the dealers that I have talked to about them.
“23’s don’t have any issues”
haha that’s a bunch of BS.
I went through 3 superchargers and finally had to lemon law my 23R.
The 24R is by far better than the 23R and the interior is much nicer on the 24R.

IMO, saying the 2023’s are better is just pure cope.

24s being better than ‘25s though, there is an argument to be had there.
Agreed, there’s nothing different about the 25’ other than the following:

Adds:
1. Orange rear tow hooks
2. Price Increase

Deletes:
2. Door Keypad (This can be added for an additional cost now at the dealer)

I have owned 801a and 802a and don't have any personal experience with the R. While attending Raptor Assault, I questioned the instructors about the R. They all agreed the 802a was the best off-road vehicle made including the TRX. They had driven them all and much preferred the 802. Their knock of the R was poor balance because of the extra weight of the motor and wheel spin because of the extra power to the wheels. Just passing along the information from the experts.
Same experience…and same questions to the instructors at Raptor Assault. They inferred the 802A was the way to go.

I toyed with the idea of buying an R…but after Raptor Assault, I ordered a 2025 37PP in Space White.

I have 13k on my 23- zero issues. 2 other guys local have over 30k on their 23's. No issues. Every owner i know that had a 24(4 of them) have had issues back and forth at the dealer. There is zero difference in power from the 23 and 24's.

I don't even think they added the rear CO tow hooks.
