It’s really not so much about how much of the right foot you use… it’s how often you use the right foot and then immediately hit the brakes. IMO brakes are a bigger killer of MPG than getting on the gas. I get 15.5 and floor it all the time.

A very smart friend of mine liked to comment that brakes convert fuel to heat. Diesel guy, but he wasn't wrong ...

I guess I'm the only a$$hole in the single digits. Currently 8.8 for me
I read somewhere that letting the engine idle in the Starbucks drive thru will do that to your MPGs. LOL...J/K I don't need another online fight...lol.

It could also be attributed to the traffic jams I experienced when I visited CA.
