Kooks makes "green cats" they are made to pass in Cali so I know they could work but they are almost $400 each. Meaning it would run me nearly $800 in cats. Yeah I'll pass on that one

If it will pass in Cacafornia......You don't want them

so do u think the anti foulers will work or no? i am searching them now and many seem to say it works. one guy even put a little steel wool between 2 of them to filter it out a bit more.

O2 sensors are measuring the air/fuel ratio in the pipe & are not subject to flow disruption. Being an oxygen sensor, they cannot be fooled by filtering or diverting the flow in the pipe.

Shorty headers eliminate this problem, sure you get half the HP but having zero hassle when getting a inspection its worth it to me. Just need 10 ppl to commit and SW will produce them

Now this sounds interesting. Is there a signup sheet somewhere?

the rear O2's are a wideband? i thought only the fronts were AFR

O2 sensors, that are not wideband, still measure the same gas. It's the output that is different, as in the term "wideband" referring to the range the sensor will register. A standard o2 sensor is basically an on/off switch, in the crudest sense.

ok got it. so does the rear one measure ratio or just an amount of gas. if its ratio then it wont work. if its look for aa amount then this will work. when i google it tons of info comes back with it working

The ECU is looking for the difference between the front & the rear O2 sensors, so I would assume the readings are comparable in that format. Anti-foulers are meant to put a spark plug out of the cylinder to prevent oil from "fouling" the spark plug & can be modified to do the same for an O2 sensor, but it will still read the exact same as it did before.
I run O2 sensors 3 feet outside of the exhaust pipe, on my dyno & get the exact same reading as if they were installed in the pipe directly.
I am certain a 1" spacer will not improve/fool the reading at all.

hmm not sure how that is possible tho. if i space it out and use steel wool that should have a different reading than the front one. have u read threw the linked thread or googled this. it pops up everywhere that it works
