Once my truck is payed off this year I planned on taking my truck down to Livernois to get custom built. Was drooling over the one trucks set up on the site that gained it 586HP, I'd want that gain if not even it out to 600 haha. But then again there are some shops up in Canada I could go too but it's still a toss up as for right now.

I think this would be a great idea. My only thing is Canada customs leaving Canada un modded then coming back modded and not claiming your mods and paying taxes, I'm sure it's easy to get around just some red tape and all. I would love to take my truck states side better prices and a lot of experienced shops to pick from. GitErDunn what part of Canada are you from?

My truck is mostly around town/highway driven but there are the times I get out and hit up the trails and shit that we have around here, it's been through it's paces off the road when it gets the chance too. My main goals for the truck is to get as much power/torque out of it that I can but still being at the "not blowing the engine or ass end out" stage lol. I loved my Lightning i had and I would love to have the feel of that again just without owning two vehicles again haha. As to canviper, I'm in BC but grew up in Alberta.

I know what your saying, it's all about torque. That 's why I'm thinking Whipple good power and my local Ford dealer might honour my factory warranty when they install it. I would love to drop off my truck at Livernois but it's just too far away.

Yeah, I've heard our trannys are rated for 800lbs as is so I think 600HP range would be decent enough if done up proper etc. Not sure how long it takes these guys to do a build but I only get a window of a week to play with at a time since I work a week on week off but then again I could always have it fall on vacation time from work that gives me 35-ish days off.

Unfortunately Ford Racing does not offer a Whipple package... Therefore I'm not sure if they will install a Whipple and warranty it. -Chris

Ford Motor Company unfortunately does not warranty a SC Raptor. (ANY SUPERCHARGER!!!)

But you can get third party warranties from the SC company and an authorized installer.

Some dealers like mine will uphold their work and not automatically say your warranty will be voided, for what ever that's worth.
So far mine has been as fair as possible, no complaints.

Roush has a close working relationship with Ford, and Ford does honor their warranty with the Roush 525 HP supercharger.
That being said, I really like the Whipple concept, and the Livernois ideas.

I know you're new the forums, but do the research.

If a dealer is telling you that the Roush has a warranty, it is because it comes included with the Roush third party 3/36,000 warranty, not Fords.
And you will pay an extra $20,000 for it!
And Roush has a warranty for the 590HP kit as well, just pay more.

Whipple's third party warranty comes at an extra cost $575 3/36,000

The only SC vehicle the Ford Warranties is the GT 500
