Live Valve delete ride quality

I have my take-offs w/live valve deletes being installed for me (along with some Deavers) starting on Monday, picking my truck back up sometime Wednesday. I’ll let y’all know how it all feels after the fact.

They will be swapping over my Eibachs to front my current shocks over to the take offs too, so my ride quality may “differ” but overall I should at least be able to let you know how it all feels from original to take-offs with live valve delete.

Put on 2019 Live valve shocks using RPG delete kit. Big thanks to Roman at NEO's for the install and expertise. Oh and he's just a cool guy to work with! I have just under 50K on my truck the shocks were doing the nose dive/acceleration rise and sway in the turns. After changing over to the new live valves we also added the SVC CAS at 1" and 1-1/8''(driver side to account for it being a tad lower). We would have gone higher but the ICON RXT kit was a no show for install, Ill do that later myself. Ultimately we gained 1" in the front with lots more room to go up and match the rear leaf spring kit rise. Surprisingly in the rear we gained 1/2"from the shock install and the truck was dead level. I believe my rear leaf springs were pretty much done the rear sat at least an 1" lower than it would new. I haven't taken any measurements after the long drive home but I will this week. I love the ride its firmer but in a new vehicle, tight suspension sort of way. No sway, nose dive etc. Highly recommend the swap.

When you installed the delete kit, did you do a teardown of the shock and reassemble, or did you just do a bleed procedure?

I don't understand the purpose of the RPG delete kit. If the shocks default to full stiff with no signal isn't it the same whether or not you do the delete? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am trying to decide if some Live Valve take-offs would be worth the money.

The delete kit removes the needle valve that restricts the fluid flow to the reservoir. This needle valve is normally closed when it isn't powered, which is what makes them go to full stiffness. Removing the needle valve solves the issue and allows fluid to flow freely like the older shocks.

When you installed the delete kit, did you do a teardown of the shock and reassemble, or did you just do a bleed procedure?

No, just removed the magnet portion and pressurized.
