I installed a catch can this afternoon . I had bought it while back for my gen 1 but it won't clear the whipple. I'm going to run it for a while see what I pull out of it. I didn't like the cheaper heater hoses and clamps that came with it . I had some braided pushlock fragola hose and crimp clamps sitting here. I think it looks cleaner this way. I bought new oem pvc hose to get ends from instead of cutting up the original. So can go right back to factory if I see no benefit. Also back on stage 2 tune.

I'm pretty much done with Gen 2 for now, i will do another draggy run soon see where I stand on ET . I need to start working on my Gen 1 Replace AC condensor and new front hubs ,RCV eliminators and RCV axles. But still have a little project when AZ summer hits to bring the heat exchanger temps down some. Here is a hint.

We had a cold front move through this afternoon. After work i did my first run on stage 2 . DA was still bit high, it still ran 13.33 but 101.5mph. Best yet I'm thinking that cobb stage 2 doesn't do much for max power but increases torque down low its very torquey down low. This 0to60 graph looks best out of any of my other 0to60 as far as Gs

The truck is moving! So stg 1 and 2 basically deliver the same 0-60? Well your out west. So your running 91oct for both stg 1 and 2? That would explain the limitation.

Looks like I need another 3 mile per hour . To even dream of 12.99. That's 40 more horse or lose 300 pounds. How much do spare tire and tailgate weigh? 120 pounds?

Yep 91 octane . If you look at 0to60 1 foot rollout is 4.7sec thats what the magazines publish at. Roads got little damp with the weather. I layed into it just a tad doing 45 mph rear started coming around. Switched to 4auto after that.

Yeah those figures even on 91 sound great. Another 3mph huh? Your going to need some boostane or E-85 mixed in to get there. But that sounds like a PIA for a daily.

Yeah I think I'm done . Unless I create my own density altitude with some Co2 spraying on intercooler.

Definitely remove the spare tire. It’s just dead weight and not even needed unless you’re off-roading. I keep mine inside my “spares” shed (HVAC controlled of course). As for the tailgate, leave it on and make sure you have a rigid bed cover. I’ve made many 1/4 mile passes and the aerodynamic benefits far outweigh (pun intended) the weight savings of removing the tailgate and/or bed cover.
