Looks great. Some questions to assist my decision process:
Why racer spots vs regular spots for your use? 6 degree vs 9 degree. I was also looking at the racer spots to shoot down the road farther.
Why are you putting the racer spots in the middle position? I would put the spots in the inner most position so if any of the light is blocked it wouldn’t effect the narrow spot pattern.
On Adam’s brackets, I assume you went on the second row back. Are the inner lights cut off by the bumper at all? Most of the pictures I see are shot from a side angle or from the middle of the truck out maybe 10 feet. Can you take a shot of the lights on one side from straight out maybe 20’?
So let me try to answer. I’ll do my best.
1. Haven’t connected them yet as I worked all day and then did the Diamondback replacement cover. Mine was defective and they sent me a new one. I upgraded to the HD.
2. Why racer spots v regular spots. Truth be told, I did not know there was a difference in beam angle. I thought the racer are brighter. I’ve never had spots in bumper and wanted them and usually go for most expensive option hoping you usually get what you pay for.
3. Why spots in the middle. Because that is where Adam recommended placing them. I did think they’d be better innermost but followed his advice and the way he has it on his truck.
On Adam’s brackets I used the forward-most row and even that, except for the outside light, does not allow the lights to be forward enough for my liking but it is what it is.
Just back from getting ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s and truck is in garage. Can’t get 20’ away on side but I will in next day or two and take pic for you.
