Its fifteen dollars, a price of lunch. You guys are acting like he just spent a thousand on a lighting mod and its a waste of money, geez.

Not quite - I said I wouldn't spend 2 cents on this mod...

So 3 cents is to much. Still looks like crap... (IMHO)

RDFTS you're correct, it's dirt cheap and since no installed pictures existed why not give it a shot. Plus completely reversible.

Sorry I was wrong when I said price, it was $15 plus shipping and has 1yr warranty per auction.

I never would have bought it if it wasn't sealed, I swear I'm not dumb. Believe it or not I have a BS in electronics/electricity from a state university.

I'll get some pictures during day close up. I'm not sure if I stated in OP, but I did have to slightly sand an area where the circuit board protruded. Fitment was decent, could use a little sanding around perimeter which I didn't notice until I was attaching it.

I have an idea to make my own now that I've had my hands on this one and be able to still have a black and white oval.

If you like it that is all that matters, who cares what others think, we aren't in elementary school anymore where we care if the others kids make fun of something. I personally do not think it looks that bad and commend you for trying something that you felt was worth your time. We all enjoy making our raptors unique

You are correct.

I'm not a fan. That doesn't mean others can't be a fan.

I'd never do it just as others wouldn't be caught dead with a Recon product on their rig...

"SVT" Illuminated fender logos.

All is good.

I agree, I dig it and will rock it for now. If I grow tired of it, it's all reversible to stock within maybe 10min. May attempt my own just for a project.

I still want to illuminate the FORD grill lettering, but definitely not reversible and new grill isn't cheap. I illuminated my old Firehawk front license plate cover and tail light filler panel about 10yrs ago with LEDs. Guess I have a thing for illuminating things, lol
