Sorry Guys - I have to disagree

That looks cheesy as hell to me!

I would like if the "FORD" letters glowed but just to have a ring around the ford emblem - no thank you.

For the common folks you cannot see that this is a Ford driving down the road at night. That oval is black with no light other than around the outside. Not going to pay for a lit ring.

Just my 2 cents worth. I wouldn't give 2 cents for that mod but again; that's my personal opinion...

Enjoy the ride brothers!

They make exactly what you're wanting! I found it when I was looking around few months ago. Not my cup of tea, just too much for my tastes . I prefer simple plus I can keep my black and white emblem to match the truck (this looks stock blue/chrome when off) . :)

Post a thread if you get it, I'd be curious how it actually looks installed.

I'd rather that minus the red around the bezel. I would have a problem with the "SILVER" color around the bezel and ring

Hope that circuit board is coated to seal it from moisture, otherwise it might be like recon and just throwing money away

It is, the SMD LEDs are all encased I'm the plastic it's in. The wires coming out are sealed as well.

I considered wiring in a resistor and couple diodes for it to act as running light after the resistor and full brightness for the brake light. I still may just use a resistor and dim it down some, haven't really looked much at it at night to decide.

Its fifteen dollars, a price of lunch. You guys are acting like he just spent a thousand on a lighting mod and its a waste of money, geez.

Well he spent $25 so that better be a good lunch.. :ROFLJest:
The fact its sealed is great, I would not care about the money as much as doing the work to install it to have it fail a few weeks later.

I would like some pics of it in daylight close up to see what it looks like when not in use.
