So it's not terribly loud, but decently rumbly? Say, compared to the Roush exhaust?
I dont know if this is helpful or not but i like the sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flkDo68Ohqw

What specifically do you want to know?

I'm adding a Roush Phase 2 and was curious about the quality of the Kooks product, fit, finish and durability as I have never used them.
Wanted to hear from anyone using them, happy with them? Recommend something different?
Just wanted a real world opinion from someone that uses their truck, not just read reviews from sites that sell the product.
Thanks!
I have the Roush Phase 2 with the Kooks True Dual. Very happy with the fit, finish, quality, and sound. Spent a lot of time visiting with JDM on the headers and SC. They recommended the Green Cats because of the SC. Can't remember what all they said, but something about the way Kooks is built they would hold up better to the added power. Don't take my word, call JDM. They are a wealth of knowledge and don't try to push their products.
BTW: I've been running everything for about 1 1/2 years with no issues what's so ever
I hadn’t had a chance to get back on here till now but I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Kooks set up like you mentioned. I called JDM and they helped answer all the questions I had. I added the bigger throttle body/plugs/tuner package while I was at it. Looking forward to getting everything installed.
Glad to hear you’ve had zero issues so far!!!
Outstanding! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the install It's not difficult at all. Just very time consuming.
FWIW: I upgraded to the 72mm pulley about a month ago. Highly recommended power increase if you live at a higher altitude. I'm at 3200ft and it made a "seat of the pants" difference
Yes, without sound meters, videos are not much use for the level of sound. Only good for the tone of the exhaust.
My video of before and after dual exhaust included video of the db meter.
