The worst tires I've had in wet condition were: OG KO tires and KO2 tires.

Would get the rear to spin with a granny take off on a turn.

I've run ST Maxx for almost 30k miles and have yet to have the rear slip out from me in the rain nor had any issues braking in the rain on the interstate.

Recommendations? I’ve looked at Toyo RT.

I got 20k out of the stock k02s, I switch to 35" 10 ply 35" Duratracs and have 45k on them with 10 left to go. They have been quieter, almost 3 times the wear, and better traction, especially in snow.

Next I will try the 315 duratracs where are the same size or slightly smaller, but 8 ply. The stock k02s are 6 ply.

I live in the NW and a majority of my driving is in the rain. The KO2s suck for pretty much any terrain/environment other than dry/desert. I run Duratracs for rain, snow, ice and mud. I love them and and had them on my last 3 trucks after removing the KO2s. I've also tried the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and was disappoint with their ability in the rain.
