Seriously? With the tires Ford puts on them stock, you'd probably get about as much traction in the snow out of a pair of racing slicks!
So, the back story. My dad and I are out to the farm today. He's got a King Ranch. We've been gone for a couple weeks so there is a fair amount of snow still in the yard, which he manages to get stuck in.
Now, the snow is fairly old and was actually melting down today. Long story short, it wasn't that deep where he got stuck. 5-6" tops. Normally, not an issue. Pop it in 4 wheel and drive right out, but the tires on his truck do nothing but spin!
So, I did what any good son would do. I drove my Raptor in obnoxiously slow circles around his King Ranch while he's rocking it back and forth and slowly making progress towards regaining traction!
Anyway, I thought it was funny. Hahaha.
Seriously though, why would Ford put stock tires with such little tread on a truck that is, supposedly, the "King of the Ranch"? Makes zero sense to me...
