i've seenit pictured but don't understand it's function. anybody know?

It replaces and relocates the stock radiator overflow. I had the K&N but went back to stock. Very easy to swap in and out should you choose.

I ran it hard in the dust and mud at the texas raptor run and the air box got a little more wet than I wanted. Never had any problems, but I did see some splashes up near the intake filter that worried me a bit. When I took it off there was zero dust in the intake tube or throttle body, so it did its job well. I've seen pictures of other manufactures where the throttle body intake was covered in dust. Nothing like that with the K&N.

I miss the sound it gave the motor and the extra 1 MPG or so I seemed to be getting, but I just think the stock air box is 'safer' for my use.

Selling this K&N setup with 2 filters, dust prefilter and wet prefilter for $150 if you're interested.

Good luck!

Got a new one being fabricated now. Should have it soon. That actually happened in traffic in Denver and not at the Raptor run lol...go figure.
