Had one this evening turn its tail up at me heading home. It of course saw me first and turned away. I had a ditch and one lane separation, but still freaked me out, it was dark out already. Love eating them, looking at them, just not hitting them. Good luck with your truck.

I just picked up my truck today and where I live this is my greatest fear while driving around. I have yet to hit one, but have come very close a number of times.

Glad you're ok. Can't see the hood really well but the rest of that stuff is just going to get replaced with new parts. Truck should be just like new again.

Glad your ok! I was driving in the early morning to a customers in Michigan a few weeks ago. A couple deer ran across the road about 100 yards a head of me then just stopped along the side of the road, it wasn't that close, could have been if I was 10-20 seconds later. Freaked me out too.

I did learned something new today at your expense, the front fenders on a Raptor are fiberglass.

@Ditchplains1 Thanks for the study on the deer whistle. I was looking at them this afternoon on Amazon which have great reviews but was skeptical.

I moved to NY from NC 3 years ago, and man deer were everywhere and seemingly loved to hang out near roads that I traveled frequently. I had several near misses and hate to hear about your accident. Glad everyone is ok, and hope your truck is fixed soon.
