Side note it's interesting to see the front fender cracking instead of bending since it's some type of composite material.

Pretty sure that material is Aluminum

Here's the real rub. My neighbor wrecked his 17 in July and it's still sitting at a repair shop waiting on parts. No f'n joke. Thats the biggest issue you have moving forward right now - getting parts.

I was hoping that would not be the case. I figured the doors and mirror should be standard. Biggest issue would be the fender and possibly hood, but I think they can fix the hood since it's very slight. I know we have rules down here that if it can't be fixed within so many months they have to total it out. I hope that won't be the case and I get lucky...

You know I got hit by a Cadillac SUV at the exact same spot and sustained about the same damage on my 13.... Must have been one determined deer. At least your offender didn't drive away as fast as they possibly could!


Anyways I got an estimate on mine and it was,

Full front door

Fixing a small dent on rear door

New running board

New fender flare

And various small things that sun up to paint work and what not.

6,900 total for my wrongdoer.

This is the deer that got me into the Raptor. Airbag deployed, $21,500 estimate, over $17k in Porsche parts. Totaled it.

In the US deer are the most dangerous wild animal as you have found out. I'm glad you're OK. My ex has killed 3 with her Audi A6 wagon; thousands of dollars in damage. After 45 years of driving I have now also hit 3 with no damage worth repairing...I've been VERY lucky!

Deer whistles have been proven to have ZERO benefit. A 10 year study by the Michigan State Police showed NO difference in deer / police cruiser collisions when the cruiser had deer whistles or not.
