It will be like having no catch can, it will suck the oil in the intake, but it will be drinking it being there's so much oil. worse than having none.

Mine rarely ever catches any measurable oil. Have the new filter and over 30k miles with it

I'll dump 2oz oil every 4-5 weeks, The heaver I am the quicker I'll be checking and emptying

Just a note here for those of you that are motor heads and understand this----use a oil that has a LOW NOACK number. Several good ones out but that just by itself will help to keep the evaporated oil out of the can.

Can you recommend some options, Hoss? How does Mobil 1 measure up?

The Mobil 1 number is good however I use the Amsoil Signature series oil in all of my vehicles. All of the oil companies list the NOACK numbers.

The biggest issue I have is in the winter. Condensation is caught and turned into a brown ugly goo by the RX catch can. Cannot believe what comes out. This is after 2 weeks and about 600 miles during a bad streach of cold and ice which means slow going. Had no idea this would be the result or I would have used a container under it!!!!!!!
