Can you give me prices for both the single and double boxes with the 10tw3 subs. If I go with 2 subs, I would likely go with the HD 600/4 to drive the fronts and rears and the HD 750/1 to drive the subs. Does this sound feasible? Also, if I go with the single sub, I'm guessing that the HD 900/5 would be too much for the single sub....is this true? Lastly, can you give me a rough time frame for getting a box made? Thanks again for all the help.

I have a quick question, hopefully you'll have the answer Noah. I have an old 10" Kicker Comp VR and was wondering if its possible to make a box that will fit in an SCrew. It still work so I figure keep using it till I finish the other mods on my truck. I dont know the demensions on the sub but its pretty old. I bought back in 2003 when I still lived in the bay area. My Raptor is a 2013 and I didn't get the sony package / navigation. How hard will it be to hook everything up?

a woofer that old might not last too long. install shouldnt be a problem even if you dont have the 801a. i think it might be easier. the cvr woofers were definitely shallow enough but i would upgrade it. if you are going to spend the money on a custom fit box, it might be best to use a better quality woofer. i can build you a box, but it is usually custom fit for the woofer. so if you replace the woofer, the box might not be ideal for the next woofer you get. with the crewcabs, i need 2 of the oem brackets. and since you dont have the sub, i will have to order a set.

I'd love to buy one of those JL stealth boxes but my wife might make me sleep in the truck if I do. For the install, would I have to pull the dash apart to get behind the head unit? It seems easier to plug into where the factory sony subwoofer would be which I don't have.

most people will put the amp on the passenger side where the oem sub used to be.

so your 2 sub set up only uses 2/3 of the space under the seat and leaves room for the amp? Nice. The "big box" sub box makers take up the whole space not leaving room.

Do you have a picture? I have been reading your threads all day and haven't seen a 10" dual sub setup yet.

its not really about being on the fence, my questions aren't questioning his work, its trying to figure out what I am buying and all of my options.
