Do you have a recommendation for a good off-road use jack I can buy to take with me to Death valley?

Craftsman floor jack. I have seen some with this.

Hi lift and know how to properly use it before the trail or an emergency!

High lift is just that. With LONG travel suspension you have to jack body Dangerously high to get tire off ground. ASK Big J
Getting under axle/lower controll arm in my opinion is safer. Light weight floor jack with a sand pad instead of rollers is desert way

I'm too lazy to deal with the factory jack...takes way to much time and is a PITA to put back in the same place.

I need a taller jack but you get the idea.

That is a secret cool tool... is that something you fab'ed up??

It was originally designed for the F250/350 and I can't recall if I contacted them first or if they joined the old SVTO forum. But I believe I was the only one who entertained the idea of having them modify their tool to fit the Tow rings on the Raptor.

Anyhow, T-Lift should be able to fab one up pretty easy...it's just a small adjustment to their existing product if I recall. Now there is some deflection in the tow rings from using it but other than that it works perfectly.

Original thread was actually carried over: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f6/new-forum-tlift-6124/

very nice Hi-Lift Mod...
Question where do you put it in the bed of your truck?? How do you travel w/ Hi-Lift jack??

Good question. A hi-lift jack is not something you want flying around in the back of your truck when the shit hits the fan. You've got to check out BigJ's mounting solution on the inside wall of his bed. SOLID!:waytogo:
