So i'm looking to put in an order for a Ford Raptor R and have sent a few emails to a few local dealers and they all seem to be marking up the "1" allocation they might have. 1 said he has one on the way, its $135K, the other said, they haven't put in their order but they would be looking at 15K over MSRP, and the other just keeps giving me the runaround. I have owned a Raptor before back in 2018. My question is what would you say the best option to get one of these on order at MSRP, is that even a possibility. I do remember when i was ordering my Raptor back in 2018 i dealt with some dealers who wouldn't even order for less than 5K over (this is ohio btw). I finally found one that would do MSRP. I understand the Raptor R is a "specialty" type vechicle and it doesn't look like a lot of dealerships are getting more than 1 allocation for one. I do get if you find on a lot, its gonna be marked up...but i thought that you could always put in a customer order, wait, and you don't get the markup. I could be dead wrong though, as its been awhile. Any advice would be appreciated. Looking to trade in the Wrangler 392 before it hits 35K miles and move back into a Raptor.

It ain't 2018. There are tons of threads on this subject just take a look . You've been here a long time so not digging, every deal is different, deals to be had, depends on your negation skills, timing, you know deal. Good luck they are a ton of fun and hope you grab one at MSRP can be had indeed.
