Another update, noise still present so the parts they swapped aren’t the issue I guess. I’m assuming I’m stuck with it now until after the holidays, I’ll update when I have any new info.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I also hear next to no SC whine unless I’m completely burying the pedal, haven’t done much of that yet.
These trucks don’t make a lot of SC whine, but my first 24 R had a nice sound from a 30mph roll. You could hear the whine in the 3-4k rpm range. This truck I have now has no SC sounds.

I don’t mean to hijack your thread, but this is the tinny/flutter sound I hear when accelerating. Might be hard to hear from a cell phone video, but no sound while at constant speed, but under load the sound is fairly pronounced over 3k rpm.

I’m thinking exhaust? I had a shop foreman ride with my for a very brief ride, he says he doesn’t hear it. Since then I’ve learned that having the back seat folded up allows for the sound to be heard more easily

New video. I dropped the truck back at the dealer but I’m not sure when they will be able to look at it again.

I’m on my second 24 R. The first one did not make the chirp, the one I have now does chirp for a few minutes after cold start. I get a loud crackle during cold start as well, and more burble/pops when decelerating than my previous 24 R.

I’m also convinced it’s not making the same power. Could be in my head, but it just doesn’t feel the same. I hear zero supercharger. There’s also a metal ticking noise that increases under load/acceleration over 3k rpm. I don’t know if the exhaust is loose, or there’s a baffle loose, I’m not sure.

Sounds like the ticking could be a potential exhaust leak?

What made you move onto a second R?

I agree something is leaking, more pronounced under higher pressure.

I sold my first R in October thinking I wanted to do a Carli F250 build. Had the F250 for a month and realized that was a bad idea lol.

Luckily found another R and quickly pulled the trigger.
