EV29 - Yes, I've had similar exceptional results with rattle can bed coating. Rustoleum makes an excellent product that's easy to apply, seemingly as durable as iron, and one can goes a looooong way. Wonderful stuff.

1. Coat the tie rods with MPHD.

2. Make sure you use red Loctite on the steering rack clevis bolt and shit house that thing on there. I believe it takes over 100 lb-ft, but ask SDHQ just to be safe.

Well I finally got some time to install my upgrades and had the opportunity to put them to use at the Spring 14.
They performed amazingly well on the trails with whoops, small jumps, and wash board roads.
Rears to come soon.

Had one small problem with my spindles from SDHQ, wasn't SDHQ's fault by any means but Fords fault.
7 of the small holes never got tapped on each spindle so I had to tap 14 holes total to make them work or ship them back.
Made the install just that much longer.
I didn't want to ship them back cause I spent a ton of time painting these suckers up to protect them from rusting too bad.

Looking good Roger. You should combine the few threads you got into a build thread.

I really like the paint job on the spindles.

As for the tapped holes. SDHQ should check them before they weld them. Although, one would think that you would have to check a direct replacement part.

I heard you got a new look to the truck as well???
