My wife and installed a matte black bedside decal pair on my 2019. We did it in the shade and we used the wet method. Just a soapy solution in a spray bottle. I think I used about 5-10 drops in a small spray bottle. We positioned the graphic where we wanted it and used some painters tape to hold it in place. One strip of tape went vertically down the middle of the decal. Then we lifted one side and peeled the backing paper off to the middle. You have to cut the backing paper off at the middle once you pull it back. Then we sprayed the bedside liberally and also the back of the decal. Then we slowly put it back down and squeegeed the hell out of that side to make sure that all the air bubbles were pushed out. Then we repeated that process with the other half of the decal. After we got it down and were pretty confident that we had squeegeed all the bubbles out, we used a hair dryer to help dry the soapy solution so the decal would be sure to stay on the bedside while we pulled the front paper off of the decal. We really took our time pulling that front paper off to ensure we didn't accidentally pull the decal off. I ended up using a plastic tool from a Bondo kit. I worked very well. Here is a photo of the applied decal. You will likely need to use an Exacto knife to trim an R at the fender flare. Good Luck!!!
