I have a set of the 2019 OEM bedside and hood graphics arriving this week and plan to wet install them myself. Has anybody installed the 2019 graphics and want supply any tips and tricks? I know they are somewhat textured compared to previous years, so I’m wondering if that affects the install.

Did a couple of sets- just follow the enclosed installation instructions they are perfect.
I did take pics of them attached on a truck at the dealer to verify exact locations of the graphics (Front, back, top & bottom).
Good luck!

I usually measure and use masking tape for guide lines and use the wet method.
I have a buddy that is an expert (he's actually going to have a display at SEMA) he just eyeballs it, sticks it on dry and squeegees it. He has an assortment of squeegees and one of them is covered with felt. I don't know where to get one but it would be nice to have.

I bought a felt covered hard plastic tool off of Amazon for like $5 to help with the install. I got my Gen 1 bedside graphics from eBay and used the wet method with a mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol. I followed the recommend install instructions from my eBay seller.

I recommend the truck being cool, because if it is hot it dries in place much faster.

It took a friend and I about 30 minutes to do both sides.

I plan to do this in the spring. I will wash and paint correct the entire bed-side then apply the graphic and prob ceramic coat the entire bed side afterwards.

These graphics are pretty easy to install even for a novice (like me). I used a special solution called RapidTac which worked great. You don't have to use it but I highly recommend using a slip solution so you can slide the graphics into place.

recently installed graphics around the cowling and middle hood and watched several videos and asked the suppliers but my advice is: use everything the manufacturer provides which includes their "formulas" for the dampening agents. Follow the time limits if any. Clay bar either the entire truck or the area you're applying graphics to. Wipe down good with alcohol and take your time. Work slowly and keep spraying to keep everything pliable. Don't freak if you get a small tear or the graphics comes with a fold on the edge you can work this out. Make sure you have a good squeegee and plenty of microfiber towels and when your done get the truck in the sun and let the graphics harden on.
I also did the subdued flag lettering on my grill which was more of a pain than the hood but I got it done.
Now this was my first time doing graphics (not decals) on a vehicle. I've done window tint on my home and thats my experience.
Good Luck
