While digging around to find brighter and whiter LEDs, came across this. Isn't it an odd looking LED bulb.....

Living up to my word, trying some new style LEDs (the actual chip). I didn't take pictures of them lit up, but all 3 of these are definitely brighter than the older 5630's I've been running. In person the brightest and whitest is the 7020 LED. Fixing to order some more of them so I have them on hand.

5730 LED

8 LED COB style. This are kind of neat since encased in silicon type of material.

Even though they say not compatible for a 2013 F-150 (using their tool in the description section) they still worked without issue?

Didn't use the vehicle description info. I looked up the bulb part # and took a shot on these whether they will be bright or not. Not only did they fit but are bright! Haven't had issues even after off roading and traveling across the nation.

JDM Astar 800LM 921 912 Error Free White PX SMD LED Backup Reverse Light Bulb | eBay

They say 800 lumens. If you search for 921 error free led you can find some for a cheaper price or 1000 lumens for the same price as the ones in the link.

I'll second that those are great. I just picked some up on Amazon.com
JDM ASTAR 800 lumens Extremely Bright Error Free 921 912 PX Chipsets LED Bulbs For Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White

I'll update with pictures when I get off work.

Got these 194 style LEDs in Monday. While they're definitely one of the brightest 194s,they do have a slight color hue to them.

The 194s a few posts up, I definitely don't recommend. I've had 2 batches from different vendors and neither have an extremely long life. I've been thru 2 sets of them in the gauge cluster in my car and both have failed. They eventually start to flicker, likely they get too hot and over time start to fail.

2014 SCREW LED replacement challenges....read thru many threads and finally took the plunge. My experience thus far has been very disappointing.

Front Turn: Bought (2) 3157 3156 Samsung High Power LED Project Lens DRL Turn Signal Amber. 2pcs 3157 3156 Samsung High Power LED Projector Lens DRL Turn Signal Light Amber | eBay Installed: Both ON. Turn signal (L or R), hyper flash on instrument display, no signal change. Hazard, regular flash pattern on instrument display, no signal change, just steady burn. Don't know if a load resistant would correct but steady burn and inconsistent display has me scratching my head. perhaps @infinitereality has a suggestion.

Rear Turn/Brake: Also bought (4) 3157 3156 Samsung LED Lights Tail Brake Turn Signal Projector Lens Red 2pcs 3157 3156 Samsung LED Lights Tail Brake Turn Signal Projector Lens Red #nk | eBay Did not install yet due to issues with front turn.

Sidemarker: Bought (2) HP5 from Crown Offroad - work great. Chris is great guy to do business with.

License Plate: Bought (2) 194-CWHP5 Cool White from Super Bright. https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...d-led-tower-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/206/ These don't fit worth a crap. DO NOT BUY THEM Loose in sockets. Flickered before trying to install so removed, put original in and returning. Bought (2) Sylannia 194 to try. Sylvania LED Stepwell Light Mini Bulb 194SYLLED - Read Reviews on Sylvania LED #194SYLLED

CARGO Bought (2) 2x 50W White CREE High Power XB-D LED T10 2825 921 912 Backup Reverse Light Bulb. Right screw removal issues due to clip. Finally removed 3rd brake light housing. Installed - worked great WOW! Went to AutoZone to buy new clips. Also going to cut new gasket as top of current was compressed and don't want water leaks.

Map Lights: bought pair of HP5 Cool White from Crown Offroad. But installation was challenging as couldn't reinstall clear lens, so had to remove entire assembly. Found the metal reflector was preventing lens from clipping in. Lights work great - WOW!

Dome Light: Bought SMF4 Diode Dynamics from Crown Offroad. Turns out there are THREE (3) PLW 578 bulbs in my dome, not 1, plus the SMF4 is a 39mm bulb and is a like throwing a hot dog down a hallway in the 578 clips. Bought (3) Sylvania Super Bright ZEVO bulbs ZEVO LED Door Mirror Light Mini Bulb 578ZEVOLED - Read Reviews on ZEVO LED #578ZEVOLED Will install and advise.

Vanity Lights: bought pair SMD1 Diode Dynamics from Crown Offroad. First attempt at install was unable to remove the #74 miniature bulbs. Will try with either the packing tape suggestion or needle nose.

Thus far, slightly discouraging.

A load resistor could fix your signal issue, may be worth a try... but when you put your tail lights in, you may be back in the same boat. I tried EVERYTHING with my truck and came up empty. I tried only front LEDs, only rear LEDs, both LEDs, load resistors on them, different value resistors on them. I literally tried everything. These trucks are so weird, some have no issues, some do some, and then like mine nothing works.

Before I sold the truck, I had bought some 10w (I think) load resistor POTs in different values where I could connect it and adjust the resistance to the perfect number. I think that is the issue with these trucks and makes sense, if the computer doesn't see an exact resistance you get hyper flash. I never got to try all of them, but could be an option. Nice part is all you'd need is 2 total once you found the value that's required.

I had good luck with the license plate lights I posted, may try to find some of them? Also use for map lights as well. That dome light you bought is expensive, especially if you needed 3 of them.
