Since I already had some LED tower tail light bulbs I bought couple years ago so I swapped them for my stock bulbs to try my idea out. No luck, but think it's because I didn't take into consideration that I was already running LED front signals so that may have skewed what I thought I needed. Placing an order today so I can try again.

Here's some new information for interior/plate LED bulbs...good and bad news.

I have ran the bulb on the right for couple years for my map and license plate lights. Fit perfectly with no issues, brightest and is a pure white light with no blue/purple hue. I ended up ordering more of them recently (or so I thought), as well as a new style to try. They all use the same type of LED (5630) and number of LEDs per bulb.

Bad news is come to find out there IS a size difference (right and center) which will NOT fit in the in the license plate lights. The only bulb that fits in there is the one on the right.

Good news is all 3 of them fit the map lights. I ended up swapping my originals out for the bulb on the right. It is noticeably brighter than the other one, I'm guessing since it has the magnification lens on the tip and it's pointed straight down.

Some more good news is I actually remember who I ordered the original LED bulbs from. I sent them a message asking to see if they carry more 5630 194 in white. They have a couple other styles I'm tempted in trying out for the map lights that look even brighter yet still pure white.

Sorry for the camera phone, I just had my flood light on in the shop when taking the pictures. not sure why I just didn't turn on the overheads.

Would load resistors help the turn signal hyper flash?

Something like this from amazon:
4Pcs Aaron 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code

I've personally tried all different size load resistors and every combo possible on my truck with zero luck.

I do think I have a way for every truck to work, no matter tolerances. Just need to buy more, more testing and verify before I go further.

I installed led bulbs in my taillights and front turn indicators. I used a 6 ohm 50watt resistor on every bulb, no hyperflashing.

I've tried that size as well as even 2 in parallel or series on my truck with no such luck. Even tried Spyder tails that have resistors built in plus added my own with no luck
