I finally found some 5360 LEDs that I "hope" will match my map lights a little better. I also expect it to be a little brighter too. I also ordered some 31mm 5630 bubs to swap out in my puddle lights.

Just got my 25w 921 cargo lights in that were same as the reverse lights. Honestly, VERY little light output difference. I didn't even both trying to take pictures, only thing I can really comment on is there's a VERY SLIGHT color temp difference.

If you have the same ones I had (with cree projector on end), I wouldn't recommend even getting them.

If you haven't bought anything yet, then get the 25w bulbs... Price-wise I think were close to same.

Just to update some on those 25w cargo/reverse lights. While my first set worked fine, I noticed this weekend my cargo lights will cut off.... I'm guessing from heat. and they both do randomly after about a minute or 2 of being on. Out they came and back in went my others since very little light output difference.

Anyone want to try some CHEAP 6w bulbs?

It is actually disappointing seeing the variances of results of all these LED bulbs. Especially with the reverse lights. They can advertise them as a billion watts, and they look no brighter than a 5 watt. I am pretty pleased with my fog light bulb mod, and my appreciation grows every time I use them.

I agree... But on a positive side, these were the only bulbs I've tried that didn't have much of a difference. The Samsung 5630 LED bulbs I "upgraded" to made a HUGE difference inside the truck, blew me away....enough so that I'll be opening my puddle lights and put some in there too.

I think after I get them done I'll be able to update my OP and have the best and brightest with no doubt.

Been installed for a month no issues. I installed the LED prior to putting on the truck, mine is a 2010 so I had to wire them for puddle lights as well which was actually pretty easy.

OK Just tried to install my puddle lights on my 2010 BUT which purple wire is it?
I've tried testing to see if they have power when I hit the unlock but nada.
These are the wires going into the mirror passenger side.

Please advise this lost sole.

I'm pretty sure it's the solid purple wire.

When I get home from work, I'll see if I have any pictures.
