“Fraptors”? I call them Faptors. Seems more appropriate.

It doesn’t really bother me. I saw a F-250 with a tow bed, clearly a work truck with the grill and lights. I face palmed hard when I saw that.

Still a poser. More to it than wheel size, Dyno numbers and looks. You can't fake the Raptor DNA/engineering/stance/how it all works seemlessly together to provide such a smooth off road experience. Posing as a Raptor is a form of compliment but suggesting you can mod a F150 to equal a Raptor is ignorant. Doesn't mean it's not cool to mod the F150 just means it'll never be a Raptor and posing as one by installing the front grille is cheesy. True gear heads don't try to emulate something else they make it their own thing and to that end I find it very cool.
Read your post... you are suggesting that one can mod anything BUT a 150??. BUT If you mod a f150 you are a poser??. Don’t be a fool! The F150s was modded way before the Raptor came along my friend!! Since the mods were so prevalent on a 150, it is a reason ford engineered the raptor. do your history before you get back on here and post this garbage. People like you give use Raptor owners a bad name. Give daddy back his truck keys.

You may of read but clearly not understood. It's common with low IQ individuals. You read but don't understand. My point was that modding the F150 is awesome when done right but thinking it's equivalent to a Raptor is foolishness. Upping the HP and putting on a grill doesn't make it a raptor. Each truck has different DNA that is not interchangable. Each truck is awesome in it's own right. Each truck can be modded up the butt but plastering a Raptor grill and wide fenders on a regular F150 puts that specific mod into poser territory. The sun must be out where you are cause you're melting like a snowflake. lighten up and enjoy your ride.

Come on JR. Snowflake? That “put down” has circled around the forum since I have been a member here.
Let me school you. Ford as been putting their name on the grill on cars trucks and even tractors since before you were born 16 years ago. Definitely before the Raptor made an appearance at the 2009 car show! And fender flares. I had them on my 1990 4x4 when I was in high school. Hardly a “Raptor signature ” Grow up and move on. This thread is a joke. Unsubscribe!

Personally I've never tried to make a fake anything. However, I could see building a 66 GT 350 clone someday so maybe there not so bad.

Test drove a Raptor in November of 2018. It was ok. Considering I would never jump my 90,000.00 truck I opted for the Roush Off-road F150 supercharged. The power difference was too great. Some how a v6 in a pickup just doesn’t seem right.

I’m laughing now about the V6 whiners. Meanwhile it blows the doors off most of the other brands V8 trucks.

Just think when people will complain about having an electric motor in there truck and it’s silent running. They will wish back for the days of anything that made noise lol

To each his own I guess...buying a pickup/SUV strictly for power just doesn’t seem right to me as it’s a really narrow use for a truck, where traction, handling and braking really compromise performance anyway due to sheer physics (size). I bought the Raptor for off road use to haul my bikes along with its on road reasonably quick manners. Strictly power? I find that in my Porsche—where it’s in a form that can be stopped and turned on a par with the power it produces. Just my two cents. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way though as I once bought an X5M—monster power but zero utility lol
