Back when I was in High School, some kid threw an M-80 through the window while I was pulling up to go swimming at the local park. The M-80 landed in the passenger seat of my raptor. I tried to pick it up and throw it out the window but it blew up right next to my hand while still in the seat. It burned a hole in my passenger side seat cover and gave me bad burns on my right hand.

I did what anyone would do... I got extremely pissed, threw the Raptor in park and got out and absolutely destroyed that kid. A friend of mine I was meeting up with got it all on video but I'm sure by now it's long gone considering that was about 4 years ago.

After I beat his ass, I told him to drive to his house and I'll follow and get the money to fix it. His parents were already outside and looked disgusted at him. After I showed them the damages and the cost to replace the leather seat bottom and back of the passenger seat, I left and went back to swim.

A few days later, I was paid in full for the seat cover and it was replaced within a week.

No police, no insurance, no trip to the hospital, nothing. Just a good old fashioned ass whooping instant karma. He learned his lesson.

I hate that happened to your hood wrap buddy. People have no respect for personal property.

Put it off till he's not expecting it and strike in a way you won't get in trouble but he won't see it coming. As much as I say beat him people are sue happy and there is no reason to get yourself in trouble. Don't do this but still funny :) https://youtu.be/TruXhuAO4IY

No man, you NEED to do this. You need to do exactly this, and get a video of it it to post on YouTube.

Next time dealing with Duct Tape use orange off. It will dissolve the adhesive and should be fine on the wrap as its plastic safe and has no petroleum products in it.

Use cases of it in the environmental industry to remove the duct tape and residue when tearing down containments

I know its a little after the fact, but did you reach out to the place that installed the wrap first before you tried to remove it? Maybe they could have removed it with better success or maybe a heat gun would have helped? Not sure about the heat gun and a wrap, just throwing out ideas.
