No, but if it's something that's beneficial I don't mind paying the extra cash. Figured if I had it already when I took it for the install that it would probably help move things along smoother.

Thanks for answering all my stupid questions too. I really appreciate it. My head is swimming trying to get all these mods right.

Not a problem at all. No such thing as a stupid question. Did you get the pedal commander yet?!

I've had mine on a couple months and haven't had any problems with it. No discernible difference in ride quality on road or off. I set it at the recommended 1.5" of lift and my truck look like it's sitting damn near level. Haven't actually measured it yet though.

To you guys who have installed the Icon unit, can you describe how it was installed? Trying to see if I need to have a shop to install it or if i can do it at home. A local off-road shop said it was going to take many hours as they would have to use the trial and error method to get the correct height. Sounds like they are trying to make this install much harder than as described on here. And someone here said it can be installed without removing the shock.

Depends on how high you want it. There is a shim that goes on top of the coilover that would req removal

I just did it last weekend in my garage. It would be hard as hell to install the 1.75 collar without shock removal but could be done. I think it's super easy to just remove the shock. First side took 3hrs!!!! But mostly due to not having the right tools and not marking coil/housing before replacement. When done correctly, the other side only took 1hr. It is trial and error depending which ht you choose. Especially if you choose to add the 0.5" shim on top of shock. I only have the 1.75" collar and it puts my front end 1/4" higher than rear. I'm adding Deavers tomorrow which should give me some rake back but I may go back and add the shims up front. That should only take me an hour total even with full removal, since I know exactly what to do and that's without power tools.

Here is a quick pick with Icon collars (1.75") and 3+ Deavers. Sits damn close to level. My guess is that Deavers will sag a bit over time. I do have the old leaf springs in the bed adding a bit of weight with this pic. Truck handles great

Just realized these pics are awful. I'm putting on some KC lights on the roof this weekend. I'll snap some better quality pics then.
