Ford is not losing any battle! They are leading the pack to the future. Here very soon we will see a major transistor to electric. Look around the new hummer and the lightning coming soon. A Ford truck will always be in my garage end of story. Ram is owned by stellantis/fiat (Italian’s). Time will tell how the TuRdX holds up. Also it looks just like a rebel very generic. Have yet to hear anyone say “look at that TuRdX it looks so cool” Every time I see a TuRdX I have to do a double take to see if it is rebel.

The looks of the G3 Raptor certainly has not been well received with many comments around “hopefully it will grow on me”. LOL. Not to mention the new fender flairs, blue interior on the ‘21s ( thankfully Ford fixed that in ‘22), sticker covering the entire bedside and a portion of the rear door, the shifter, and my favorite, the tach. “How many rpms is my engine turning at idle? Oh, 0.7”
Not sure whose idea that was......

I really hoped to buy another Raptor this Fall, but considering everything, I ordered a loaded L2 TRX. I’ll look hard at a Raptor R in 2 years when they are available and if they don’t become vapor ware, until then driving a TRX isn’t exactly a bad choice...

Sorry to hear that. ram won the motortrend truck of the year 3 years in a row so they are doing something right. I am not sure how they are holding up a few years in. That has always been the problem.
An award based on AD buys is meaningless

Wait till end of 3rd model year on anything that's when deals will be had. Market will be saturated . Jeep gladiators had high ADM when they came out , local dealer now has 20+ sitting for long time.

I traded my 2018 Raptor for a TRX at msrp it was a base TRX paid 72,500 I missed the Raptor from the moment I drove out of the ram dealer the Raptor rides so much better and my TRX had lean almost 2 inches on the drivers side ..
I got a deal I couldn't pass up a ford dealer gave me 86,000 for the TRX I had it 5 months 3,800 miles on it
bought a 21 Raptor 37 for 10,000 over msrp .
no way could I have paid over msrp without getting that crazy trade in deal 13,500 dollars more than I paid for the TRX

The TRX is an impressive machine for the street, had one pull along side me the other night. It sounded good and was lit up like a party wagon with lights in the wheel wells. I bet it's all the talk at all the local starbucks.

TRX gets like what, 7-9mpg? They look cool but pretty ridiculous as a daily driver.
I think it’s 10-12mpg actually, compared to my 15mpg average in my Raptor. But that makes no difference to me as I’m definitely planning on ordering a 22 TRX. The Raptor has been great as my daily driver, but the V6 sound just disappoints every time I step on it.
Looking forward to a glorious SC whine combined with a big V8 while they are still made. I feel somewhat sad because I have always considered myself a Ford truck guy, but the TRX has what Ford is refusing to give so many of us. Until then, I’m switching.
