I think it’s 10-12mpg actually, compared to my 15mpg average in my Raptor. But that makes no difference to me as I’m definitely planning on ordering a 22 TRX. The Raptor has been great as my daily driver, but the V6 sound just disappoints every time I step on it.
Looking forward to a glorious SC whine combined with a big V8 while they are still made. I feel somewhat sad because I have always considered myself a Ford truck guy, but the TRX has what Ford is refusing to give so many of us. Until then, I’m switching.

Nothing wrong at all with switching things up occasionally, not unlike girlfriends. Nothing necessarily wrong with your current gal, it you just can’t get that new ***** out of your mind....

13-14 is the avg
Seems doubtful. Seeing as how the EPA shows 10 in the city and 14 for Hwy. My bet is that 8-10 is the average. My gen 1 Raptor averages 12. It’s hard to believe a TRX gets better mileage. But it’s all relative in the end. For having 702 horsepower it’s okay to get bad mileage. Simple trade off. Didn’t mean to create a new gas mileage argument :emotions122:

What I care about is range and the Ram has a smaller tank and worse mileage.

People also need to consider the “I just need something different”. My wife loved her x5’s, all 5 that she had(over the years). One day she woke up and said, I kinda want a different SUV. Not because she didn’t have 500+ hp(she did), not because it wasn’t luxurious enough, not because it wasn’t awesome to drive but…… she just wanted different. So she go a luxurious 500+ hp awesome driving SUV which was not an X5.

The TRX on paper is awesome but in person I am not overly excited. I can say that the people with TRX trucks(that I know) get the yea that a cool truck and is all guys. My raptor get guys, women and kids always walking up with a smile telling me how cool the raptor is.

Really? Because I am coming to the (disappointing) conclusion that there are fewer young people interested in cars then ever before. I think the overwhelming majority of people wouldn’t know the difference between a Honda Accord vs a Bugatti Chiron.
